The experience takes place at a top birds of prey centre in Knockholt, Kent. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by their experienced falconers, who’ll begin with a brief introduction. Next, you’ll be introduced to several majestic species of owl—including a Bengal eagle-owl, Eurasian eagle-owl, barn owl and boobook owl. All have plenty of experience meeting new people, and they’ll happily allow you to admire, photograph (without flash) and even hold them! Over two hours, you’ll learn all about their individual habits and behaviours, before the session concludes, and you’re free to explore the centre’s six-acre nature trail at leisure.
